Another suggested add ons might be the case. Another reason I got was that it might be hardware acceleration, which I turned off before I got the problem again. But I can view up to 1080p videos without buffering or any problems. Common reasons I got for this was that my internet might be slow. I went searching for solutions all over the web. Which is very annoying.Īt first I thought this could be a issue on my display drivers. Usually repeats within 5 minutes of it happening at minimum. It sometimes never happens on some videos I watch but the ones that it does happen, If I went back to watch it again (refreshing tab or finishing the video then coming back) It happens again. After the rewind the video doesn't get stuck on the same spot but further down it happens again. Meaning I'd lose out on 1-3 seconds of visual footage which I have to rewind to watch again. After the freeze or stutter, the video never gets out of sync with the audio but actually jumps ahead to where tit is. I am hopeful that someone else has seen this and may have a solution.The issue is when the youtube video is being viewed (only happens on youtube), it suddenly freezes with a healthy grey bar and a connection, while the audio continuously plays on. I have spoken to American Audio tech support, who were most unhelpfull and said it was a software issue and not theirs. I have checked that the pc soundcard has not set VMS4 to default. In audio settings, if I get there ahead of the freeze/crash, when set to VMS4, the right hand boxes in the outputs show the bitrate for a moment then change to 'Error'. I have ruled out a fault with the controller as it works just fine on my old Windows7 machine and my new pc is a much higher spec. So far I have tried, uninstall, reinstall, cleaned out the registry, tried 4 different older builds, tried the latest build 3471, done a full clean install of Windows10, tried different usb leads. As soon as I connect my VMS4, VDJ just freezes and then crashes.

If I use VDJ (8.2 3420 - 3440 - 3471) with a keyboard and mouse it is just fine. I have been using an American Audio VMS4 with Windows10 for a couple of months now with no problems up until now.
